As many of our readers may know, WhiteTree are passionate about doing what we can to support students who are studying with hopes of eventually working in the fashion industry. We're proud to offer students a hefty 25% discount, as well as offering custom kits for their fashion courses and a sample service to help to source the perfect fabfrics for collections. You can read more about this by clicking here.
So, when the opportunity arose for us to work with 2 students by way of sponsorship, we jumped at the chance.
Meet Hannah Donkin and Bianca Green
Based in London, and both in their final year at one of the best fashion schools in the world - Central Saint Martins, Hannah and Bianca have already started their own menswear label. They're the first two students to collaborate on a collection which will be showcased at the end of year show. Their collection will feature footwear from Vans, who are also sponsoring Bianca and Hannah. Of course, the collection will now also feature fabric from WhiteTree fabrics! We're so pleased to be a part of this and can't wait to see the show and the collection. Here's an exclusive sneak preview of what Bianca and Hannah are working on.
The girls have both been very busy recently, learning abour fabric printing this week, as well as spending long hours in the studio working on their toile line up. All this hard work and dedication is sure to pay oiff and we hope you'll join us in wishing Bianca and Hannah all the very best for their final year collection. We'll bring you updates as and when we have them so don't forget to check the blog often.
WhiteTree fabrics aim to support students and schools any way they can. If you think you'd like to work with us on creating affordable course kits specific to your school, or if you'd like to work with us on putting a fabric library together, drop us a line. Can you think of another way we'd can work together? Talk to us - we're open to ideas and collaborations. When it comes to sponsorship, we like to dedicate our resources and efforts to one student at a time (or in this case, a duo!). If you'd like to be considered for sponsorship in 2016, get in touch.
