Our Ultimate Pencil Skirt is now available as a kit! A flattering high-waisted pencil skirt with a kick pleat at the back, she looks fab with our Pussy Bow Blouse or our Silk Cami or any shirt or jumper neatly tucked in. Designed to rise above your natural waist, the Pencil Skirt elongates your legs and makes you look ten feet tall!*
The kit comes with a gorgeous royal blue stretch cotton** (97% cotton, 3% elastane), but you can fit the pattern onto any 1.3m length of 140cm wide fabric, making it a great wardrobe staple that you can keep on sewing up.
The pattern has four darts and a concealed zip at the centre back. The top of the skirt is finished with an interfaced waist facing, whilst the bottom of the skirt has a kick pleat to make walking just that little bit easier.
An intermediate dressmaking project, we reckon if you've made one or two simple garments you should be able to tackle the Ultimate Pencil Skirt. The instruction booklet comes fully illustrated to help you along. We know you can do it!
