We've compiled some useful information to answer any questions you might have about our products, services and website. If your query isn't covered here, please contact us.

Some important basics: WhiteTree fabrics are online only. We don't have a store and we do not open at weekends. Opening hours for our office/warehouse/processing departments etc are: Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday: 8.30am - 3.30pm. Please bear this in mind when placing orders or emailing/calling. many thanks!

What are your order processing times?
Usually we can turn an order around and have it out to you in 1-3 working days, depending on what you have ordered. Items such as haberdashery and sewing patterns are normally very quick to ship.

Sometimes, your order may take longer, especially if it involves fabrics.

We stock fabrics by the roll (large rolls of 80-100m), so when you order a metre or more, we pick the roll and it goes off to our cutting department to be measured, cut, inspected and then packed. When we are very busy and have lots of orders, this process can take up to 2-3 days. You will then need to allow for delivery time on top of this. If you are unsure, please email us to find out more. Also, if your order is urgent and you are working to deadlines, please contact us with the order number and we will do our best to get the goods out to you asap.

Special items - we do offer some products that are special order. Please allow up to 7 working days for these to reach you - these products will clearly state this at the time of ordering.

What are your delivery times like?
We depend on our partners to get your goods to you. We use Royal Mail and UPS and usually they don't let us down! You can expect next day delivery on your order once it has shipped (courier). Royal mail can sometimes take a little while longer depending on time of year, service and area. Depending on the size and value, goods will be sent first class, special delivery or UPS next day for UK. The rest of the world usually receives their orders within 3-5 days via Royal Mail International Signed for or UPS Standard. Learn more by clicking here.

What are the widths of your fabrics? Your website says 100-150cms.
We know, and we're working on getting the correct widths listed for you as we know this is an important factor when ordering your fabric. We hope to have this completed soon. In the meantime, please contact us if you would like to know any information about any fabric. 

Do you ship to where I live?
We ship worldwide. We try our very best to keep our postage costs as low as possible and we constantly negotiate with our carriers to keep prices down.

How do I return something to you?

Do you have a shop I can visit?
Unfortunately, we do not have a shop at the moment. Our premises consist of offices, processing departments and warehousing and as such are not suitable for customers to visit. Our hours of operation are Mon-Thurs 8:30am- 5pm and Friday 8:30am-3:30pm. Orders placed during the weekend will be processed on Mondays.

Do you close during holiday times?
We're closed on bank holidays and we close at Christmas. We are always closed for Christmas Eve and then we remain closed until the next working day after New Year's day. Please bear this in mind when ordering anything during this time.

Do you have any special offers running?

Do you have a crafting club or a swatch club I can join? I'm prepared to pay.
No, we don't. What we do have is The WhiteTree Family which is free to join. Being a member of the WhiteTree family gives you access to exclusive discount codes and offers that aren't made available to the general public. You don't need to pay for swatches - our swatches are sent to you free of charge (up to 5) and all you just is the postage and packing.
