The Ava Sundress is the perfect dress for summer! Design features include a flattering A-line skirt, high sweetheart necklines on the front & back yokes, bustline & waistline darts, & a center back zipper. Variations include omitting the front waistline darts, using contrast fabric for the yokes and hemband or ruffle, and three skirt lengths: knee, mid-calf, or maxi. The maxi length version photographed on the inside cover features applique from our Birds In Flight stitchery pattern. This design is well suited for using border print fabrics, so be sure to consider all options when selecting fabrics. Rayon is a wonderful choice for this dress. It is a dream to wear!
